I agree with "hair remover" that the epilator is definitely more effective when dry than wet, unless you're doing your bikini line and your underarms (hurts less in the shower). So I've decided to shave a little so the hair grows back a little "coarser" so to speak. I think it actually has to do with the fact that the hair on my legs, for example, is growing back thinly (thanks to the device, which is good) and so the epilator hasn't been really pulling it out so well.
